I remember my Greek father always told me in his thick wonderful Greek accent... " Marianthe....if you no see the ocean...no order the fish" so when I painted this ...I was thinking of the Greek Islands and how they hold the very essence of Greece..... it's life style for enjoying life's beauty and truly enjoying life and food at it's best!!!
